Last month, USA InvestCo President Chuck Schoninger visited stakeholders with the Agricultural Bank of China in Jinan with a North Carolina Department of Commerce representative.  Since returning from China USA InvestCo is estimating a projected 43 investors by June, tied to the Northern Riverfront Marina and Hotel project.  We also have our sights set on future EB-5 projects, looking at another opportunity that could add jobs at the Port of Wilmington.  The project termed “Project Penguin” is the next phase of bringing more jobs to Wilmington.  The company is growing and we plan to bring our local and worldwide workforce to 200 employees in the coming years.  We recently opened an office in Shanghai and are already looking for more space. These are clear indicators of just how much international interest has been generated in the Wilmington area.

Chuck Schoninger and the USA InvestCo EB-5 Project were featured in a Star News Article.  They discuss the company, overall strategy, and USA InvestCo’s success with the EB-5 program in helping to raise the necessary funds.  The Northern Riverfront Marina & Hotel EB-5 Project is located in Downtown Wilmington, North Carolina.  The Marina will be a full-service 204 slip marina with short and long-term dockage, fuel service, and a full restaurant.  Construction has already begun on the marina which is slated to open in Spring 2013.  The 143 room Indigo Hotel will be located just next to the marina.  Construction on the hotel to commence later this year.
